Family is so important.  Many times it is the very reason we make most other choices in life.  Who doesn't at some point long for that idyllic "Leave it to Beaver" lifestyle, in which everyone is happy and the home is always neat, tidy, and only sees problems which are easily handled within thirty minutes!  Right and wrong are clearcut choices, and relationship problems seldom delve any deeper than the mildly annoying, but lovable Eddie Haskell...
Of course, we all know that this is real life... and real life can be gritty.  We make friends, we make messes, others fail us, and sometimes we are the ones who fail them.  I am a strong advocate of the traditional God-ordained institutions of marriage and family.  I always have been, and I always will be.  But, that has not stopped divorce from ripping through the basic fundamentals of my beliefs, and tearing apart my life... and my relationships.

But, messy as we are, God is there.  He is a Father who longs for a genuine and close relationship with us.  This is why He created us.  When we have made the choice to entrust our lives to Him, He does not forsake us, although we may often wander from Him.  Perhaps you've been hurt, or maybe you are enjoying altogher wonderful and healthy personal and family relationships.  Either way, God is there, waiting for you to run to Him and allow Him to establish what He has intended from the beginning of time to be the ultimate in natural relationships.
